Without subscribing legendary, you are getting maybe 10% of end game content, with that estimate being extremely generous. Plenty of fun to be had I'm sure without, but as the other post said, you'll reach a point where it's redundant. One player was 'Free To Play' (FTP) for over a year, when it 1st came out. At that time you could get to just over 100 skill points and CR72 w/beta mods. Now I think you can go a bit farther into Tier IV content and in December they usually have a month of free content. So I've had league mates get to around CR 170 last year as free to play. Games perfectly playable, accept you will have to accept that you will be playing the same raids and missions over and over again to the point where you won’t be able to level much more because of the hard cap. It's horrible Pay 2 Win and has harsh paywall, that's why I'm not even bothering to start playing it. It looks cool, but when it's just a story demo till lvl 30 and nothing after it without continuous waste of money into a broken game by one of the worst game MMO hosts out there - it's not worth it. Thinking about start playing Champions Online, at least all the content is absolutely free and you pretty much can make a premium character after tons of grind and convertation of free in-game currency into premuim currency, that got me interested in it. Anyways if you a DC fan like me and just want a little bit of fun play this "demo" till lvl 30/tier 4 content and then leave or keep wasting ur time and money on it if you're an idiot)

With all the seasonal events and the open world free content during the year, you can get ur cr up. You also can buy episodes one time purchase and have that content.

"im level 30 with a low combat rating is this game even playable "

well being as you played through like 30 or so hours of content for free i think if you like it and want all the sweet dlc and more inventory slots and stuff go with a membership something, or at least spend the 5$ or whatever it is to go premium.
