Is Open world Pvp still in this game?

I ask because i played years ago and it was, now coming back and read a post about it gone. Just wondering if open world pvp still exist?

Basically NO. A long time ago the geniuses at SOE decided to not even give people the option to choose if they want to start PvE or PvP and they just stick them into PvE phase. That resulted in open world PvP being uitterly destroyed besides very few exceptions. It's largely a ghost town in open PvP, the last time I played. Things are very poorly explained in DCUO and a lot of people dont learn what teh Phase Shifter is till later in the game or even not at all.

never played on the pve server, until now. But without pvp this game will just get deleted by me. Sorry but any dumbass can beat an AI its other players that are a challenge. And the fact that open world was possible is what brought me to the game. The whole idea of being able tobe attacked at anytime, so you had to be one your toes. Thats the real hunt.

Ya, the open PvP was quite fun. I agree, only reason I play this game is for PvP, I hate PvE oriented MMOs. There still is Legends and Arena.

Legends instanced PvP. You can queue for it on teh On Duty menu.

Oh thought u were talking about a game on byond.com. little 2d side scroller thats pure pvp. snes graphics. Nice site though allows players to make and host their own games for free. Even gives them tutorials and the tools on how todo it, from coding to the little snes artwork. Last time i played there though was 3 years ago and the community was dying down. Games that had 300 players at any time like dragon ball finale were down to only 100 to 150. Still in terms of game quaility they had better games just not better graphics. I guess its bc actual players make them and not companys rushing them out to make a buck.
