Linkdead toon. Help, stuck.

I lost my toon to LINKDEAD status maybe half an hour ago, and so far nothing has been able to fix this issue. I need help, or else I can't play at all. I've waited on the loading screen for quite some time, and nothing happened. I've tried waiting on the character select screen, and nothing. What am I supposed to do when my character and essentially my account is useless!?!

Used to happen to me a lot when i used to play the game.
If you're still dealing with this problem then follow these steps
Step 1
Logout of your DCUO/STEAM Account.
Step 2
Restart your computer.
Step 3
Login your steam account and then right click on DCUO / Properties / Local files / Verify integrity of game files.
Step 4
After you're done verifing the files, log into your DCUO account and everything should workout just fine.

Hopefully it'll fix your problem, just like it did for me and a few friends of mine, have a nice day.

This is 100% wrong. Link dead toons time out out on their own. usually within 10-20 minutes. Just message a league mate for them to update you when your toon has DC'd.

Yep Linkdead characters will timeout in 10 mins. but if you try and logon before that 10 mins is up it will reset the timer and you will have to shut down game for another 10 mins.
