Role specific gear

Does gear with the "Requires role: Healer" need me to be in healer role to be able to receive their benefit? Or do I just need to have access to Healer role but can still receive the gear's benefit as DMG?

As long as your power's other role, besides dps, is a healer.. then you can equip it. You don't have to be in that role's mode. My primary character is a Sorc, which excels in dps but can be a decent heal as well. Honestly, if you plan on being a dps, the role specific gear isn't that good. You'd be better off just sticking to the regular gear, which emphasizes precision(weapon attack damage) and might(Power attack damage).

I missed up then :S, I advanced my character to CR 100 and took all the gear for healer because I figured when I'd get low health I'd be able to heal myself more tremendously.

When in a party for dungeons and such I tend to prefer healing but I don't even know how to queue for dungeons in this game xD

It's not that hard to get gear at the lower crs, so don't worry about it. If you want to heal, then go for it. I just thought I'd let you know.

Press "y" to open up a list of dungeons and instances. There are a few different types, each leting you party up with a different amount of other players. Solo, Duo, 4-man Alert, and 8-man raid. There's also pvp instances, with legend being pvp as iconic DC characters. There's an event tab which has a variety of things, and also changes a lot. Just click the checkmark beside a instance listed in this, then (if 4-man+), select a role and finally just press ready.

Thanks, I think I can tell what window you're talking about, I'm using a controller so Y is my range attack xD but I know which tab under my menues you're mentioning. Thanks a ton!

hmm, you can use both keyboard and mouse and controller; in fact, if you are on console you should buy a keyboard.
. the heal gear is great cause you will be an excellent healer for your parties, dungeons. People always love a healer, and esp. a good one. Besides, plenty of gear will drop, usually dps, generic. No big deal. Good choice really.
