What would be the easiest noob/bad player "Class" setup?
I'm enjoying the game so far but I'm not really able to get anywhere as it seems all my quest enemies are too strong for me, I tried Rifle and dual pistol and in neither case am I finding any success.

So I was wondering which would be the easiest roles to start off as to solo the game and learn through.

If you're new to the game. I'd definitely recommend using the sorcery power set or Earth. The advanced mechanic is pretty simple to learn (as all you need to do is keep your pet buffed). As for weapons. I'd recommend one handed.

Thank you!

I personally like the handblast. The missions you are having trouble with just leave them til you get a little stronger and go back.

It was only the weaponers that turned out to be an issue, which they were with what MTOKA recommended too, same thing when I ended up in large groups by accident (Sometimes the aggro range seems tiny) though right now sorcery one handed is working well for me.

As for hand blast I don't like the stand the character takes in that >.> big problem for me, if my character looks goofy I won't enjoy it, exception being dark souls

I would rock sorcery, it's the prettiest and you can self heal like crayz Sorcery has always been my personal favorite hit me up if you want a load out

I realised earlier today that I was on damage loadout so I was confuse as to why the soul well and watcher weren't healing me, once I switched it's become much easier having those two sources of healing xD

Aesthetic doesn't matter. One handed is the best weapon for DPS. It has an easy WM combo that only requires you to hold the range button twice. Great for pet based powers, As you'll be dealing damage along with your pet.

Jubily judging from your achievements, I'm assuming you're stilll haven't reached end game. I'd definately reccomend you sticking to DPS till you do. As this will allow you to roll the story faster and reach 30 to start upgrading your CR. Since you're also using Sorc, I'd definaetly reccomend you using the Fury pet, he'll be able to 1 hit pretty much every monster at your level, and remember to stay in the DPS role when rolling the story, this'll allow you to make the most out of the power set's AM.

Healing isn't neccessary when you're 1 hitting enemies left and right. Don't confuse him with secondary roles yet. He hasn;t reached end game yet.

For DPS, I agree that Earth or Sorcery are probably the best and easiest.
For tanks, I prefer Atomic and Ice.
Controller, I'd recommend Quantom.
And for Healer, I'd recommend Nature or Celestial.

I was going with healer because I tend to favour the role of a healer and the support of having an auto healer, I'm also not used to having a pet that does everything for me. But I'll give the fury a chance!

If they want to trying being a healer, then let them be. If they try and don't think it suits htem, then he can always respec and change over to dps... or just try a different power.

Here's another thing though, all the powers have different styles. Yes, that includes both the dps and special role available to them. For example, some healing powers are better with a very proactive approach while powers like elect is a lot about positioning and requires a whole lot more thought.
