Which game to play first?

i got a 7 dollar bundle off steam that included shadow of mordor and shadow of war, so im wondering which one i should play firs tot understand things better?

Shadow of Mordor was great, lots of fun.

Shadow of War was garbage, skip it.

I mean if you want to know the story you would want to play Mordor first, but if you want better gameplay ( Mordor dosent have bad gameplay tho ) and more I would say war

It is, I played the shadow of War on ps5 and from wat i can tell, it is a major improvement, at least for me

Do Mordor first, then War. Mordor has a great story, and the gameplay was innovative. War expands upon the first, starting right where the first one ends, and greatly evolves the gameplay. Once you play War, you will not want to go back to Mordor without good reason, so definitely play Mordor first.

Mordor, as the guy above me said, has an amazing story. Combat is tight and everything is fun. War is an expansion of that in every way. My only gripe with War from back when I played it is the maps felt really constrained. A few great open areas but a few other really hard to traverse places. Still if you like Mordor (and killing orcs) a lot, def play War. It isnt exactly the same but it's good fun. especially since you got them for cheap!
