Mouse Acceleration Temp Fix

A lot of the topics on the terrible and inconsistent mouse acceleration in the game are a few months old and, given the sale, I'm thinking lots of people just picked this up. If you're like me, you hate inconsistent camera motion. I have no idea why developers keep putting it in game by default but we keep needing to get rid of it. In this case, it seems that Monolith didn't actually put it in but it's a consequence of their motion blur solution.

If you set the "Motion Blur/Antialiasing" option to "Off", mouse acceleration disappears.

This solution was found in other threads but I wanted to highlight it for all those who newly got the game.

Motion blur is terrible anyway so this is a win-win :)

Do this work also if you only keep Antialiasing enabled (FXAA)? Haven't got into game fully, put it is really hard to move mouse and hit targets that move like birds (with bow) or last chance kill where you have to move mouse pointer into a circle for a kill or be killed chance.

I started playing with mouse but my pointing finger hurt in like an hour(its like playing 6 hours CSGO in one hour of SoM, just bc you tap Mouse 1 5000 times a minute)

Besides my mouse clicks so loud non stop.

I bough a used 360 controller for 3 bucks its too perfect

Setting the FPS cap to no limit, turning off fullscreen optimizations and leaving Vsync on removed the retarded mouse acceleration. It plays exactly how it should now.

Go to the .exe and disable fullscreen optimations and try. Make sure the FPS cap is set to no limit and Vsync is enabled.

i tried everything but still having some acceleration sometimes

alright so i spent 20 mins figuring it out my man soo lets say this game is old af and the xbox one when it got mouse support had really bad ghosting if you had high polling rate i went from 1000 to 125 and guess what its 100 times better then what it was also playing at 2k with a 3080 fps is capped at 100 because of the game engine and when i switched to 200 percent rezz the mouse got better so im sure polling rate is the problem.

depends on your mouse i use logitech so it would be in the ghub

helps with some older games that i have been playing like all the older assassins games
