To sum it all up, assuming you have completed ALL achievement, artifacts or torvin's journal and you have ABSOLUTELY nothing else to do with that DLC, resetting the game is the only way to get it. Now i know this sound's harsh but hear me out.
Start by pressing "X" on the campaign selection screen. This will reset the entire DLC. Once it start's your first mission will be the caragaths. And once that is done, teleport to the SouthWest tower. You will see the "Matron's Rising" mission. Don't bother finishing it. Just set that b*tch on fire using the fire arrow. Then there you have it. I didn't bother continuing on that DLC cause i practically finished everything in it.
Sure do hope this eases your "restarting all over again" pain.
1. Go to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[STEAM_ID]\241930\remote
on your computer. [STEAM_ID] will be some number unique to you, just dig around. Replace C: if your Steam is installed on another drive, obviously.
2. Make a backup copy of GameData.sav that exists in that folder (just drag it to your desktop or another folder.
3. Start the game, reset the DLC, and blast your matron on "Matron's Rising" as described above. Achievement unlocked!
4. No need to finish the mission; quit entirely out of the game.
5. Go back into that directory, delete GameData.sav, and replace it with the backup from step 2.
6. Voila! Load up the DLC and you'll see that all of your progress is still there.
