Female skin.

Hi all just started on this game and i think i've found a bug, i'm using the female skin provided but i'm seeing the Talion guy in the cut scenes and following his story?

Strange odd bug to go from male to female to male to female etc very weird.

They didn't change the story, just the skin. Just like if you use any other skin, you'd see the default Talion. No big deal as the story doesn't last long and you end up hunting orcs forever. However, it would be nice if they stopped saying "he" any time you hear them talking about the Gravewalker, lol.

So why have the female skin at all, honestly that seems a bit cheap and nasty, oh well, i'll use Talion from now on..

They are all Pre-rendered cut scenes. If u don't want to watch a female with male voice, just play with Talion skin.

Already plan too, honestly the way they implemented the female skin it was a waste of coding..

I agree it's a bit disappointing. We've come to a stage in games development now where we are getting used to having the character gender selection fully implemented (yeah I realize it's just a "skin" selection).

But the "skin"/model looks so cool I still play her. :)

Also when the female skin was added to the game one of the Test of... missions was added that uses the female skin. In it you have different abilities and when you die, you die, and her bow has unlimited arrows but are weaker then Talions' but only in that Test of... mission (I don't remember which one).

This isn't one of those games though and it was never ever going to be like that. This is Talion's story.

Just play through the main story as Talion and switch to one of the other skins afterwards.

That's what I did.

Pre-rendered for a very good reason, actually. This is supposed to be Talion's story, not yours.

You play as Talion in the story, not a character of your choosing. It's the same deal when you play The Witcher games, for example. You're always Geralt. Here, you're always Talion, at least during the story anyway.

Pre-rendered scences have been around for a long time and they serve their purpose as a story driving plot tool.

After the story was done, I switched to a different skin so it was never an issue for me.
