Tip on Shadow of Mordor, do not rush the main missions. At least enjoy all the side quest and mechanics of the game and you'll be amazed how great it is.
Did you play any other Assassins Creed games? Did you enjoy playing them? Are you bored of it?
Do you like Pirates and enjoy the idea of playing a really good Pirate game again (there hasn't been any since Pirates!)
Did you play any of the Batman Arkham games? Did you like the fighting in those games?
If you answered any of the questions with Yes, you at least have some knowledge of what to expect.
Assassins Creed hasn't invoated its game or its difficulty since the Assassins Creed 2. Basically the difficulty you faced at the end of Ac2 is the difficulty present in any other Assassins Creed game. If you never played an AC game, buy AC2 before Blackflag.
Blackflag mixes up the game by making a large portion of the game about riding around on your ship and capturing other ships. The ship to ship combat is enjoyable.. and the land mechanics are bog standard Assassins Creed controls. If you never played an AC game, you will enjoy it, most likely. If you never played an AC game and love Pirates, you will probably love this game.
The Pirate bit in Blackflag is so good, that i, complately bored of the lack of innovation in AC games, immensely enjoyed Blackflag. I loathed the same old same old land stuff, but i the Pirate section made up for it, for me.
Assassins Creed games are Ubisoft games and Ubisoft games are easy. Extremely easy. Lack of difficulty slider makes it a problem, in my opinion.
Shadow of Mordor on the other hand is Batman Arkham with swords. You still are a caped crusader, a dark knight... and you scare the living crap out of your enemies. The combat mechanics are the same as in BA.. so if you played Batman Arkham City, as you should have, you know exactly what you get in Shadow of Mordor. If you ever wanted Batman behead anyone with a big broadsword... then Shadow of Mordor is for you.
If you haven't played Assassins Creed 2 or Batman Arkham City... what are you doing here? Those two games are not only better but also cheaper than Blackflag and Shadow of Mordor.
shadow of mordor is assassins creed with the batman combat system basically. i love tolkien and enjoyed this game and the story...but it's way too short and repetitive,i finished the game in 64 hours 100%
and the dlc's are atrociously useless, just blatant money grabs..yes i have them so myeaaaaah
assassins creed black flag is better than the previous one which was the worst of the series..if you are not familiar with assassins creed story line, then i don't recommend buying this game.
i would get assassins creed 2 series instead which is the best and has most compelling story line of all of them.
