(Minor Spoiler) Building my own army...
So I'm at the point where I need to brand all of the war chiefs in Nurn and build my own army - are there certain uruks I should be looking for or does it not matter?

Is it worth getting very tough warchiefs to fight the ones in Mordor, or do I need to ensure that I can eliminate them at a later date? (e.g. ones who can be killed by one stealth attack)

For example - and I don't know if this has been triggered as part of a game event - I've encountered my first Legendary Captain. He's a combat master and is invulnerable to everything but limited regular attacks (i.e. 4 flurry strikes, stop, don't finish the combo - but this would take forever to reduce his health) and possibly beasts (Not terrified but beasts seem to be a reliable way of damaging these guys).

He's only on the second tier up and at 16 power, so should I remove him before he's a problem or boost him to warchief? I've just met a similar legendary captain (his only flaw is fear of betrayal - he runs if he sees Uruks fighting each other, hah!) and I was thinking of pitting them against each other, or using both as warchiefs.

For anyone who wants to see the first legendary one that I mentioned:

Brand warchiefs that are easy to brand, if as you say, invulnerable to everything, it's best to rather death threat, kill him, get a good rune and let your branded captain take his place.

PS. Your captain has a big weakness, caragors. Once he see's one, he can only run away.

Thanks. Yeah, the problem was that I first fought him when he was doing a Feast event in the caves in the North West of Nurn so there were no caragors around at all. I read about the 'do 4 flurry attacks' but it was insignificant damage.

I found an awesome little captain called Skurn the Assassin (complete with hood and twin blades). I thought he would be fun to 'level up' so I branded him, made him attack another captain but it turned into an Execution mission. I intervened, attempted to kill the other captain, but accidentally killed Skurn. Whoops!

Tuka the Slippery. Power level 9. Elite Warchief. Yes, this guy made it, somehow.

I guess Mordor has the same promotion criteria as my company.

All captains are vulnerable to Graugs in the end.

I would say try to get easy ones and then get them promoted. Also, it's Numen, Nurn is Elder Scrolls.

I like to brand their bodyguards and then kill the warchief

How do you get 5 bodyguards for 1 warchief?
