Need a saved game from after the last update that destoyed my saved games

Ok, Im resigned that the last last update destroyed my saved games and there is nothing I can do about it. I tried ussing one of the saved games that other players have so graciously put in dropbox to help those of us unfortunate enough to have had this crap happen. But all of them are from before the last update. And while they will open, mordor will not update the save.
If someone could post a save after this last update I would be so grateful. It doesnt need to be anywhere near the 70% I was I was at. I just don't want to have to go through the whole thing again. Even if only 20% would be very appreciated.

And since no other games have ever done this to me and this is the only wb game I have, its got to be wb, not steam, not windows, not anything else. And yes, I haven't benn backing back the saves on my 200+ games before as I will not use this stupid cloud that has caused all the problems for the rest. But I will start doing it for this wb game which is the last one I will ever buy from them.

Please forgive the rant. And steam, I've been through the forums posts. This has been going on since Oct last year. Why aren't you addressing a problem that has effected thousands of your users? You are the best online drm out there. I expected more from you.

ok, ignore my post. It would do no good, WB's update forces you to play online. If you try to play offline it ignores your save and starts from scratch. And then wonn't save what you did offline so you get to start from sccratch everytime you try to play offline.

I don't think WB has changed anything to prevent saves from being accessed when offline. I just checked on my own system, disconnected the ethernet cable entirely, disabled WiFi and put Steam into offline mode. Started Mordor, my saves were still there and the game played normally just as it did when online.

It seems more likely your issue is related to whatever bug is causing people to lose their save files then any requirement to be online.
