How to distinguish Orcs from Uruks?
I do confront smaller and less beefy enemies at certain times. But more often than that, a muscular, taller, stronger one of a kind finds me.

So, is this the only thing which separate Uruks from Orcs?

OR

Are the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in Sauron's Army considered as Uruks only?

"Uruk" is an "Orc" ... and then, there is the "uruk-hai" which isn't introduced in this game.

Basically Uruk is just another word for Orc. Here is a quote from wiki about Uruk-hai. Which i assume to be correct:

The name "Uruk-hai" has the element Uruk, which is a Black Speech word related to Orc, related to the word "Urko" in Tolkien's invented language of Quenya. The element hai means "folk", so "Uruk-hai" is "Orc-folk". A similar term is "Olog-hai" ("troll-folk"), used for a breed of especially strong and vicious trolls capable of surviving sunlight.

The Uruk-hai, described as very large black orcs of great strength, first appeared from Mordor about the year 2475 of the Third Age, when they briefly took Ithilien and the city of Osgiliath. These original Uruks were of Sauron's breeding, but Saruman bred his own. Saruman's are shown to have resistance to sunlight and an upright stature, though whether or not these features are unique to his Uruks is open to question. All Uruks were larger and stronger than other breeds of orc and consequently looked down upon and often bullied them.

The Uruk-hai of Isengard were the tallest of these orcs, and had large hands and thick, straight legs, while the orcs of Mordor are described as bow-legged. Although the Isengarders still did not like the light of the sun, they could withstand it, unlike other orcs. The orcs of Mordor were all long-armed and crook-legged, not as tall as the Isengarders but larger and more powerful than the orcs from Moria. The orcs of Moria in turn could see better in the dark than the Isengarders. Grishnákh from Mordor is described as very broad but shorter than Uglúk. In The Return of the King, the orcs Shagrat and Gorbag are identified as Uruk-hai of Mordor

Yeah ... so the "big tall orc" in-game might be the "uruk-hai" whilst the "small ratbag-ish orc" is just the "common uruk".

No. You only meet Uruks in this game. Uruk-hai were created by Saruman the Wise in the Fellowship of the Ring movie.

True, shall we go with the terms ...
... but those "big tall orcs" surely fit the looks of "uruk-hai", don't they?

So, basically we do confront either standard Orcs and Uruks which is a taller and stronger kind of Orcs in the game?

Uruk and orc is the same word with a different variation of pronounciation.

I wish there could be Uruk-hai in this game in a Lord of the Rings related campaign :tgrin:

Uruks are a slightly bigger, stronger breed of regular Orcs. Uruks and Orcs are not the same.
They can walk under sunlight with fewer problems and are basically an elite branch of Orcs.

Sunlight again? like a vampire issue.
