Installed Video Device Does not Support DirectX11 features.

I so bad wanted to play Shadow of Mordor , i installed the game and when i try open it it says
"Installed Video Device Does not Support DirectX11 features. " A friend said i might not be able play it because my intel core don't match the game... so i what pre-ordred for a game i can't play and can i get my money back or is there a way fix it???

Hopes for some help in what to do now.

so basically i bought a game i now cannot return (because it was opened and the registration number used) and it won't run on my system?! what a waste of money

That's what the minimum system requirements on the store page are for.

But when you pre order a game, you cant see the requrements when you buy it.

so a GTX295 won't run it. It could handle it but just not in DX11...

The System requirements have been known long before the pre-orders went up. If you pre-ordered from a store, you should have done some research and looked for the sytsem requirements before pre-ordering, if you pre-orderd from Steam, well the system requirements were there when you pre-ordered.

im still having this issue with my hd 6970 even tho it meets minimum still gives me message been a few days now gone from WB, amd to microsoft to steam and no one can give me an answer on how to fix the problem.
i reinstalled drivers did bios check for the igp nothing works.

that option doesn't exist or i just can't seem to find it. i have 14.9 ccc and it doesnt have a power tab where this switchable graphics settings should be.

Honestly not trying to be rude or anything, but wouldn't it be easier to just get a console for games?

I have ps3 but since i brought it for pc i guess i cant use it for ps3??
