How to slay the Gul Matron?

executions/build up on grunts or if you have fire arrows two of those is enough (weakness is fire)

Stick and move, stick and move ... fire arrows should work good too, but I haven't tried that myself. you'll need to hang out around ghul mounds at night to get one to come out iirc.

The hardest thing was to find one - had to come back to the first location and wait for darkness.
Killing is easy, once you've got fire arrows.

Ride a caragor and slay them all.
Trick to get them to spawn!
They only spawn at night obviously.
When you are attacked by ghouls, let one escape, it will bring reinforcements.

I think I went into a cave where there was a weapon challenge and died but I built up my xp a lot and returned with loads of arrows and killed her with them....

hit, jump over rinse and repeat till you can use a killmove, thense repeat the whole process,

I forgot to add I hack enough to get a hit streak then use "R" for wraith stun.... it helps to thin out the normal ghuls

If you get the ranger perk that stuns them if you jump over them ithelps. it was the only way i could kill her. After many, many, many deaths

Right on Comrades, good suggestions a plenty.

Just got the fire arrow perk. To use that I have to charge up via hit streak (i.e. the sword turns blue) and then fire off an arrow as normal, right?

When your hit streak reaches 8 (Or 5 if you have the perk that reduces the amount of combos needed) you press CTRL when aiming and it shoots a fire arrow

I ran out of the cave when I ran out of arrows and low health, made it up the tower and waited. A orc band wandered by and the cheif killed the matron for me.
