Crashes when starting black captain mission. HELP!

I havent found anything on this yet. was wondering if anyone had the same problem and found a fix. Help would be much apreciated!

What are your system specs?
When does it crash?
Do you recieve an error message?

My rig is a windows 7, 64 bit, processor is 8 cores at 4.0 Ghz, ram is 8 gigs, Gpu is Radion 7770 1Gb.
The crash is specifically when i am trying to load the black captain mission thts right after blowing up the monument.
Yes there is an error message but it gives no specifics, only says that the program has stoped working. I have to Ctr Alt Del to do anything after it happens.

I'm getting the same issue. It crashes everytime. I'm on Windows 7 64bit. 24gb of ram 680gtx SLI. I think it's a Steam issue. I hope they fix it soon.

I did end up finding a solution (a ♥♥♥♥♥ annoying one but it worked) I just uninstalled it and reinstalled it.

I'm hoping they make an update. I was on a killer speed run too.

I wouldn't count on it honestly. This problem seems to be verry rare. It took me days of looking for a sollution and not fintding anyone with the same problem before I finally threw in the towl and just reinstalled it. I think its just because of a faulty install. As long as you have backup for it enabled then none of your save data will be lost.

I'm redownloading it from Steam intead of using the install disks. Hopefully that will work. The crazy thing is I tried a bootleg version of it and it worked fine. It's crazy that my legal copy is broken. So sad. Cheers!

I downloaded it from Steam instead of the install disks and it worked without any problems. Plus I didn't lose my saved game.
