Yeah, I know. Still living with the parents while I am attending College. Trust me though, when I can get the money saved up, Gaming PC is my first thing.

it will depend on how much system memory you have and whether or not you mind playing in low res and low settings, imo.

Sounds like classic Runtime C++ error. Basically, the game uses Visual C++ 2010 redist, but if you have any .dll that are corrupt, the game doesn't start (no error message or anything). WHat worked for me was to completely uninstall ALL versions of C++ runtime in control panel/uninstall programs, then I downloaded an all-in-one package of fresh runtime files from here:

I installed all the packages and the game immediately worked without any problems. I'm not saying it'll definitely fix your issue, but it's worth a go, because this game is effing great.

Go to advanced options.
Hit auto config and the game will set the graphic options your pc can handle.
Also, and this is vital, make sure your Texture Quality matches the amount of MB your graphics card can handle!!! It should display the amount you can handle in the buttom right corner. Too high Texture Quality is a performance killer in this game. I run a GTX 660 and I can go to the medium setting, its around 2048MB.

Yes, it’s another rant by somebody who can’t spell or form a decent sentence. There seems to be a high correlation between complaining and a failure to communicate, I wonder why :-)

This is not true, my computer is 4years old and can run it on low medium/high with no problem. I have 1 gig gpu. And the low texture setting in this game is skyrim high. You can also get the hi rez tex packs. Thats out of the question for me though.

This is a problem for alot of ppl. I dont get an error or anything just doesnt load..Ive tried whatever I can find online But no changes.My specs r fine but nothing..At least a graphics hickup would be a hint in the right direction.....Plz help me!!!!
