Full Rune Farming Guide - Level 25+ And Epic Runes (Best Runes In The Game)

This is a little guide I made to farm weapon runes so you will deal a lot more damage, have smaller usage of your focus, stun longer, etc etc etc. Epic runes are the best runes in game, and when you know how to farm them, you can get big loads of them in no time. NOTE: When you have collected ALL the epic runes, you'll always find level runes so the best way to get higher level runes than 25 is first collecting all the epic ones and then you'll be able to use Death Threat as well in order to get above level 25.

Some white ones are pretty damn strong indeed, but in overall these don't have random % and are a lot better, except a few

Those are indeed very nice, my favourite was the -50% focus depletion but unfortunately, my save data got corrupted and I had to start all over. Now I completed the game for 3 times xD had to do all the farming for Power and experience again :D still, I enjoy this game a lot and it'll take some time before I start to get bored with it.

+1 Exploiting Fear/Hate
+1 Death Threat
+1 Revenge kill
= 26 Rune

Using weakness doesn't do anything.

Easy way to get them is get intel, send a death threat, exploit hate/fear then let them kill you. Level them to 20 and then dominate them and send them to betray the warchief. Once he's the warchief, kill him.
If you already have a second guy prepared in the same way, make him the bodyguard before you kill the first one and then he will become the warchief. You can keep chaining them like this for easy farming.

In addition to the above, make sure you have sent a death threat, let them kill you and exploited the fear before you brand, because none of that is possible after branding (although if they have a hate you can still exploit that).

Btw i was curious on this: Does the killing blow weapon influence the drop? Like its always a sword rune if you get killing blow with sword? and like wise with dagger and bow?

Not really, when you actually send a death threat to your enemy, that will decrease your chance drastically to be able to find level 25 runes and up, because then the likelyhood to find Epic runes is a little bit too much. I would not recommend using Death Threat to find level 25+ runes, only Epic runes. With that being said, the rune will be 25 since the +1 Death Threat is not being added. You can however try this and have a very small chance of them dropping a non-Epic rune. I would recommend you backup your save file and kill them over and over again until they drop those runes.

I didn't kill this guy with the bow, but it did drop a bow rune. I did however pin him down to the ground, but I think that doesn't change the loot table. These drops are pretty random, there is one way however to be sure which kind of rune they drop but I'm not sure about that one. I've read it somewhere but forgot that info :s If you have all runes for a certain weapon (not sure if that is possible, but worth the try, you'll only find runes that you haven't found before)

Why would you want to destroy the chance to get the 25+ runes with Death Threat on Warchiefs if you want to go for those? Death Threat is used for Epic runes and if you want to find level runes then you shouldn't use it at all.
