What's the absolute minimum spec you need to run the HD pack?

64-bit Win 7 or Win 8, a minimum of 8 GB system RAM, and a DirectX 11 compatible NVIDIA or AMD video card with at least 6GB of RAM and the latest drivers. i just pasted that from the page. and thanks ill be sure to get it

That's not the absolute minimum spec for the HD pack. I've seen a Youtube video of someone running the HD pack on a 3GB graphics card, an AMD 280X.

Has anyone been able to run the HD pack on less than 3GB of VRAM?

In my opinion, using high textures with the ingame downscaling is better.

I run the HD pack set to ULTRA and it is excellent, i7-4800MQ @ 2.7GHz, 16Go RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M.

I asked a question about the HD TEXTURES pack. I couldn't give a sh@t about the normal textures and how to run them in ultra.
