Can you get your save data from Steam cloud?
If you could, could you answer a few questions for me?
1) Is Steam Cloud enabled for your Steam account?
2) Did you sign in with a WBPlay account for Shadow of Mordor?
3) How did you close the game before you lost your save (Exit normally, crashed, terminate via Task Manager, etc.)?
4) When you lost your save, did you launch the game through the Steam client or directly via executable/shortcut?
5) What was your completion % in the game when you lost your save?
despite the fact your question wasn´t meant for me, maybe it helps.
My save game got lost 1 hour ago. From the beginning i had problems with crashes. 3 out of 4 times my game crashes as soon as i get near the western region or fast travel near it. It´s the region where you meet Ratbag for the first time. The whole East wasn´t a problem. There i got my 10% completion and had a lot of fun. Unitil the Savegame-Lost Crash as i tried to get to the First Ratbag Mission.

2) Yes (Menu said "verified", BTW is the WB Account auto Login? Never asked for my password)
3) Crash ; PopUp "Stopped Working" unknown Error, Close via PopUp
4) Desktop ShortCut

First thing i did after that, was verifing Cache and it found 1 file to replace with a size of 4.9GB.

Thank you guys for addressing these issues as they come up in the forums. Says alot about your attention to your customers and fans of the game. I have played another game (Magic the gathering DOTP on steam) which had the same issue with loss of saves and all progress. It was extremely frustrating as many cards were solely unlocked from hours of play. Some users tested options and thought it had something to do with steam cloud and that turning it off helped. This was never 100% confirmed and it never was fixed. Those developers did absolutely nothing as far as addressing the issue or patching the game. They simply ignored those affected customers and released another annual iteration later on. This in their minds I guess was them "fixing" the problem. It was painful to pay good money for a game and see that lack of care, when the game itself was pretty decent and fun to play. All that to say thanks again for taking the time to communicate and show that you guys are working on these issues.

Made it, but verified after crash

Ive tried both. When i reconnect it was through execute

i have played 6 hours and not really sure. got 22% achievements. most recent jaws of death. was killing my nr 3 warchief.
