Seems like the game got rushed and the last parts of the main quest took the hit.
It didn't ruin the game for me as I found the journey totally worthwhile. Holy hell, I was having fun with Brand once I unlocked it lol and releasing carigors on orcs was always fun, but I totally agree that the final boss battle was a total copout and ended the game with a fart.
The only "big boss" battle I found to have any weight to it was the one after you take out the monument, but even that was easy.
The Tower and Black Hand battles were low points in terms of how they were programmed and how to beat them. I got killed by one same Warchief (5 lol) more than either of those last two bosses (a total of 0).
you know, just pull that out from Batman too!
Stealth draining him a few times when his back was turned was not a challenge. Graugs are more challenging than him.
Alrigh but yeah even that was easy too. Hell, all I did was brand most of the foot soldiers and they and the Warchiefs I had with me took out the 5 "Talons" almost by themselves.
That whole "boss battle" didnt even make any sense. The guy was talking to me, he knows im there. Why the hell am i sneaking up on him? I thouhgt i was in for some mean ass bosfight and ended up just feeling confused.
I was too busy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around on the caragor. Before i knew it 4 Talons were killed. I was lucky to turn around and kill the last one before my cheifs beat me to it.
they have blatantly obvious animation based tells even without the 2D PAY ATTENTION DON'T STAND HERE objects.
Then i finally met The Tower...
"Bow to me!"....
OOOh i was getting so excited, If the hammer was fun then this will be super! OOOOH...
'Stealth Drain The Tower'..
(Jaw drops)
Are you F**king serious! All that hard work, branding, dominating, having to listen to a fat Scottish dwarf lol and my reward is STEALTH FKIN DRAIN!!!!
WHAT!!!
Oh well, The Black Hand will be EP....wait for it... IC!
"Spacebar Spacebar hold E" and ♥♥♥♥.......
This just seemed like Monolith rushed the ending and it reallly spoiled the experience for me. Just like i am rushing this ending as my dinner is getting cold.
Overall Great game seriously let down by an AWFUL end
Thank you for reading my rant. Your life is now complete
