I thought it was "spacebar lag" or something, but it just might be the game isnt registering the input.
It happens with all enemies that require the spacebar to be pressed. however, the spacebar works just fine while running and other manouvers that require it.
I'd like to say it's a controller issue, but it's more likely I need to practice / my brain thinks i'm adding direction but i'm actually not.
Ok, I guess that makes sence. Now the next question is which direction? Toward, away, or 90 degree angle from the attack?
The shield guys can be really damn hard, combined with vault breaker they're nearly gamebreakingly OP.
But when I dodge toward other orcs I roll over them.
I think you're right about the mechanics of it, and it should be fixed, but on my machine I am also getting a bit of a delay with the dodge/jump button anyway especially noticeable when climbing onto the tops of walls etc. Using an XBox 360 Controller I can press the A button several times before the animation kicks in and Talion decides he wants to follow my instructions.
As a side note I think it's a bad idea to priortise the movement before action i.e. if I've reached the top of a wall and I'm pressing Left with the stick and A(jump) then my preference would be to get up and then continue going left. As it is I'm often just moving along a ledge until I remember to completely release the left stick before using A. Or maybe I'm just clumsy!
This and the camera being far too close to Talion during fights are my only problems with the game.
