Battery Level Icon Unremovable In-Game{laptop users}{UPDATED}

UPDATE:
So it seems to go away when the battery level is 100%, but at no other time.


Is there an option to remove this battery level icon from the in-game UI? If not, can someone competent take a look where it is located in the game files, because I want to delete it or replace it with a transparent png or something, I don't even know. It's just really distracting.

Info: Just a little icon that shows battery level as a percentage at the bottom right of the screen in-game. It persists even when the laptop is plugged in and charging, though it changes to a little picture of a plug rather than a picture of a battery. Persists even with high battery level (still there at 95%, plugged in and not). Won't go away. Can't find an option to get rid of it in the menus.

I have the same issue with my ASUS Rog laptop (with it plugged in). It is distracting because it covers up other ingame icons at the same location on the HUD! The programers need to fix that or just remove the battery level thingy altogether.

I highly doubt that the game is showing the battery indicator. It is most likely an OSD overlay that the laptop presenting.

Weird. If it is the game that is presenting the battery icon, that would mean that they specifically coded it to look for battery power, which just seems weird. I have a gaming laptop (which would probably hate trying to run this game), perhaps I will install SoM to it to see if I get a battery indicator.

I still think it's the laptop's built in software. I too would like to see a screenshot of what you guys are seeing. (why is WB_Juliet a scammer?)

To be clear, we do have some devs out here helping us to gather info. WB_Donald, WB_Julet, WB_Derek, and WB_Travis ARE developers. We're working on getting them tagged up appropriately ASAP, so there won't be any more confusion.

Also, don't follow any link they give you, unless it's support.wbgames.com. (Or from anyone, for that matter, without following your own discerning tastes.)

I've noticed this too, but it doesn't really bother me. It would be good if it was optional so the people who want it off can have it off.

i only play games on my latop via hdmi to my either 39 in or 50 in tv, it's way too big and distracting on both :)
beside, any gaming laptop that can play this on medium + settings it going to have the power sucked out of it very quickly. laptop users don't really need this icon.

Yeah I've only ever seen this icon as the plug because I just don't play high end games with the laptop unplugged. This battery seems to drain too quickly as it is when just running Microsoft Word :P
