nope
I don't know much about mods, so could someone explain what keeps it from being modded?
It maaaay happen, we will have to see. Considering it is a SP game, i don't see why not.(depends on the engine and if WB/Monolith will allow it too)

Well if it does not have build in mod support from within the engine its close to impossible to mod it...and as its an WB game I really doubt they will patchin any form of mod support to be honest

well, some things can stop it, like the engine but I don't think there would be too many problems, you may not see new models or whatever, but yea... we will have to see.

It's a monolith game, published by WB. We may get lucky.
Highly unlikely....takes a massive niche interest for games without tool sets to get modded regardless....and while this is to some extent based off of the hobbit and lotr....I think most of that crowd considers this to be a bastard child.

Maybe if the community begs monolith enough they will give us the lvl editing tools and maybe a tutorial on their modeling/lvl editing tools if they have them. If WE really beg them they may create them for us if they don't already have them, but that is just a far off dream, i havn't even gotten to play more than 2 hrs so far.
I say no because of the Nemesis engine itself. They'd have to reveal how the engine works and I don't see that happening.

well, the ability to change character models (or "skins") is already in the game. I don't see any real reason someone couldn't make replacement models and add them in. Same goes for textures.

play as Legolas or Aragon or an Orc.

Animations and quests etc would be a different story without some sort of developer tools.
Custom models for the player/villains and monsters is all that i want
If RAGE can get mod tools 2 years after it was released, any game can! And this game is 3000 times more popular than rage.
I believe so. there is a lot of cool things that they can do like creating skins and what not. they can also create areas of the games that aren't so gloomy. I feel the population in Mordor is 100
% orcs and slaves
