Changing between the 2 maps

I just got to the second part of the map but is there a pathway to switch between the 2?
I can't find it anymore

I believe there was a pop up before you changed map you might have missed. It says to change between maps click on the blue gate icon on each map. Its at the south of the map in the 2nd area.

for one reason i don't know why i can't travel between maps even tough i beated the whole campaign can someone help me??
