Unable to do a "Ledge kill"

Hi guys, i'm trying to do a bonus mission on a slave mission, and the popup says "Hold left shift and left click when under an orc to do a ledge kill" but whenever i do it, it doesn't count towards a leap kill. I'm hanging off a wall or ledge with E but still its not counting towards the objective, what am i doing wrong?

a ledge kill is where you are hanging below the orc and pull them off the ledge, not where you drop down on top of them.

There are three conditions you need to fulfil from my experience. (Not sure about PC controls since I am using a controller.)
1. Hang on a ledge.
2. Be in stealth mode.
3. Have the uruk close enough for the kill. (Red highlight)
4. Press attack button (X on the controller).

What i did was just attract them over to me until they were in sight of the ledge, then attract them once more and drop down wait for them to step close enough and kill them.
