I dont see the need or point to do ultra for negligable eye candy. Im running 60 FPS. I also run at 1080p resolution.
The game looks great even with medium textures. I pushed it up to high when I first started playing and barely noticed any slow down but the difference just isnt that much of a deal for me.
The only way I might change my mind is if I actually saw a comparison video.
The only noticeable difference I can see is a texture on the orange/red cloth in the image that isn't present in the high textures. Other than that they look identical to me. I can't see anything else that looks noticeably different.
I want to use the resolution scaling / super sampling to make it perdier, but the only way I can do that is if I turn Ultra textures off. But then, since I am increasing the resolution, the Ultra textures will be more needed. The ultimate catch 22 :P
Better believe it.
