Load times are UNBEARABLE
So every time it has to load anything, it takes insanely long. Getting to the main menu takes almost three minutes. The benchmark took two minutes. And the worst part is playing the actual game.

I was loading after every cutscene. It takes longer to LOAD a level than it does to PLAY it. Like that one where you spar with your son and learn how to counter? That took me 20 seconds to complete, almost two minutes to load. The tiny little level where you first stealth kill 3 orcs? 30 seconds to complete, two minutes to load. Im sure a PS3 would load quicker than this.

What could cause this issue? Its only in this game. I can load any other game on my system at their normal rates.

Something wrong your end, loads are about 15-20 seconds max.
I only have a 7200 rpm HDD too.

I am running this off a solid state and it loads just about as fast as any other game. Try testing your hard disk, it could be failing which would give you slow read/ write times

This is what I assumed at first. But, like I said, I tried many other games installed to this same hard drive. They all work just fine. They load as fast as they always have (quickly).

Well, i downloaded that 96mb patch that auto updated. It fixed my issue. Though I still get the issue where I randomly watch my framerate switch between 60 fps and 30 fps. But not because of gpu load or anything, but its like the FPS lock/limit just drops to 30 in some areas. Its strange.

What load times? Everything is near instant for me and I didn't even put this on my SSD

Load times are 5 seconds on my pc, that is what I get for using an SSD.

Try to tweak vsync settings for the 60-30fps problem. Could try borderless window instead of fullscreen as well.

Turn off Vsync or force Triple Buffering via D3D Overrider for Nvidia.

Do you happen to have the game installed in different drive? People are having issues with that when they have slave drives.

Yeah I imagine its a vsync type thing. I had the issue in Dead Rising 3 as well. Ill tinker with it. And I didnt even know it had borderless window, i always apperciate that option in games. Thanks for the tips.
