Most modernish CPUs will downclock when they overheat rather than force shutdown. It really sounds like your power supply has something wrong.
You can try using something like OCCT or furmark in combination with prime95 or aida64 to stress your components and see if the same thing happens.
Of course, I'm not responsible if something catches fire from doing that :)
90% of the time when a pc just shuts down on a game is because of the overheating that either started or was about to start
So it would be helpful if you post your PC specs because it could be the problem it being too low cant handle it

The CPU, Mainboard, and Graphics tab will tell you your CPU, motherboard, and video card. For power supply, you'll have to look at the stickers on it :P
Edit: Power supply will need to be brand/model in addition to rated wattage. There are a lot of garbage power supplies that can only handle, say, half of what they're advertised as.
but for now try to get what you can and post your pc specs

Cpu , Gpu , Ram , ( make sure you have enough harddisk space )
Also the power supply it might be a little outdated, i have no experience with hardware so try to check with someone else

I googled quickly and found someone who had issues with games crashing on the same model. It wasn't a full on shutdown, but it could be related. Acer released a BIOS update which fixed that person's issue. Check acer's site for a bios update and instructions on installing it. Good to get that out of the way before pointing too many fingers at hardware.
