This is a really disgusting trait of AAA games (and games in general) to have such disrespect for the client and player...
Is there really no way, even the most convoluted, to play in your language?
Seems to be working fine, even the lip sync. I'll check it a bit more and i'll make a detailed tutorial. :)
Either way, thanks for the info. That's quite a shame for them to make people's lives so complicated *sigh*
Not so convoluted, you know. I've seen worse. And sometimes it's not even doable, like for Mass Effect 1. So i'm glad i managed to find the tip for this one. I usually cannot stand the voice acting in my native language, so I HAVE TO find a solution, even if it takes me several hours :)
No batch, sorry, but it's not so difficult. I've made a quick tutorial here.
Based on this info I've searched a bit and didn't find a free alternative for FreeCommander, also I've found http://en.www.elberethzone.net/dragon-unpacker.html#download but it apparently doesn't allow for archiving files back in... :/
Do you have error messages? Can you extract the files? When does the operation fail ?
Total Commander and the plugin are the only way i could do this. I tried also with QuickBMS, there's a script that is supposed to work but I got errors for the extraction, and couldn't repack.
Total Commander is a shareware but it is fully functionnal without registration, and the plugin is a freeware.
I'm on Windows 10 64bits though. But I've installed TC 32bits (as the plugin is 32bits).
I have the same configuration as you.
I've checked several times the operations to be sure, and it's OK for me, so I really don't know...
But I've updated the tutorial and added some screenshots. You may have a look to check once more.
