interrogation not working?

I can't get past the first orc fight where you have to "left ctrl" to hold the orc and press "spacebar" to interrogate him. I am holding him fine, but space bar won't do anything!

same problem - can't interrogate while playing on keyboard (pressing spacebar while holding an orc does nothing!). If I switch to gamepad it works just fine.

Had the same issue at first, you need to hold Left Ctrl for a bit, then the spacebar option should popup.

I solved my problem by removing any other language my keyboard might have been using cause apparently ctrl+space switches between them. Control panel->Region and language->Keyboards and languages->Change keyboards and leave just one language there.

I have the same issue. left crtl + space after that while holding ctrl doesn't work. I Tried multiple stuff. I have only one language on my PC though. At the beginning it was working but after i saved game i cannot interrogate anymore. Hopefully they will fix that soon.

The easiest way to solve this would be set up a different key to replace left ctrl or spacebar, I use my mouse's side button to replace left ctrl which is for grab/interact. The default scheme(left ctrl+space) is actually changing input methods in windows.....Anyway just change to a different key.

Press and hold CTRL, wait for the spacebar action to come up on the lower-right side of the screen

I figured out it was key Ghosting and i even have the Corsair Vengeance K70 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. sad :(
