This fix works for me, though still unplayable my graphics card is just to old haha, nvidia geforce gt 130m :) . Was able to run the game, just very very very slow and choppy. The cut scences/ videos in the beginning ran perfectly fine, but couldnt deal with the actual gameplay being that slow. Anyway this does work for those of you wondering.
Hey I can't run Shadow of Mordor either and I checked and I have DirectX 11 on my computer. Idk whats wrong. My graphics card is the AMD Radeon HD 7470M. Please help!
Did you check the available solutions that I or others posted most recently? As I mentioned earlier (and linked a solution in my post) my problem was the registry not being properly set up by WB games to detect my DX11 compatible card.
While your PC has DX11 installed, your graphics adapter is too old to use it. Even if it could the game wouldn't be playable anyway. It is way too slow for this game.
The Game-Developers programmed the game with DirectX in version 11 (in a few years 12 will be standard), so you need a graphic card which supports it.
Even if your integrated graphic chip could use directX11, it would be to weak to run the game properly. Those graphic chips are good for doing office work or for normal use (Writing, emails, videos, internet) but thats it. If you lucky, you can run old games on it.
Soooo, yes -> You should buy a graphic card suited for pc-gaming. But keep in mind, that you also need a good CPU and enough main memory. I don't know if your computer would be better by just adding a good gaming card.
My advice: If you are not interested about how a computer works / what do you need for gaming on computer and you have no friend with some knowledge about it, go and get a console.
On a console you dont have to be worry about all this requirements a pc-game has.
dude i have a laptop with NO graphics card and I can run skyrim on high with no problems.
