How is the PC port?!?!?
I am encryting the last file's now (cause Steam Preload is a pain in the arrrrrse!) and I'm just wondering how the Pc port is? Is the controls with Mouse and Keyboard any good? And how is the performance? Does it run good and yeah everything basic really!

For me it seems fine. Lots of options, resolutions, etc to choose from.

Keyboard and mouse works fine though I'm preferring 360 controller. Swapping between the two is just a matter of using them, and does not require changing any settings.

I'm above recommended and am using max settings (except for optional ultra textures and upscaling) and am having no trouble maintaining 60 fps so far. i7 3770k, GTX 780, 16gb DDR3 RAM and a 7200 RPM HDD (so no SSD).

So overall I was afraid that with WB acting so... uptight prelaunch that the port would be bad. But for me, so far, it has run fine.

Hardest part for me so far is camera control. Just a bit quirky and will take some getting used to.

Awesome so far but had to drop a few of my settings to high instead of ultra. Also dont know about keyboard but xbox 360 control works great just had to tune sensitivity down a bit cause when i went into archer mode my crosshair went nuts
It's not a port...
Why do you insist it's a port? The game is made by monolith who brought us AVP2 and FEAR series.
How's G-Sync on this game? I've got an enabled G-Sync monitor and am just wondering.
A port means it was written for another system and then that code was fitted for pc. The game is not a port. The code was made for the pc specifically. Not made from coding from a console version.

This game has never been a port. The amount of graphics options to change and how well the game runs on most PCs tells me it's bloody well optimised.

Get this out of your head that it's a damn port. Not all PC games are console ports. This goes above and beyond what the console versions can achieve.

Monolith have always been PC developers and brought us amazing games like FEAR and NOLF. This is just another one of their amazing PC games.
All good for me as well on high settings (really, who nees ultra? (they do nothing unless you have the 4K pack installed). While the game glitches out to hell and back with crossfire, my single gimped (two dying fans) Gigabyte 7970 is able to run between 56 and 74 fps on average.

Game seems to be well optimized though I am seeing a few odd things (resurrecting captains for one). Controlls work well on K/M though the camera control when holding an enemy could use some more work. Feels a lot like a modern Assassin's Creed (talking about the original game) control set that is a bit more polished.

All settings on high except shadow quality (medium) and some other settings turned to their highest (I think filtering but I already forgot what it was, too much epic killing) at 1920x1080.

If you have SLI or Crossfired cards be prepared for weridness in menus (spinning arrows of Mt. Doom) and other graphical glitches in-game if you do not disable them before running.

The ultra pack isn't available for download yet, so if you choose ultra in options it's just the same as the high-option.
