It will probably nag you to log into their 'service' in game though.
Don't worry they are working towards uplay/origin, I think they just want to ease it in.
Man, I'm sick of this kind of stuff.
This is common with games launched through uPlay, or gfwl, and made me think it probably has an external launcher.
A) Steam tells you if a game has an 3rd party drm solution. ie: another launcher
B) Why wold a WB game launch from UPLAY when bought through steam?
C) Arkham Origins is a WB game and does not feature any of this.

The game is also listed on uPlay, I wasnt aware of the drm thing, and while I own arkham origins, Ive never ran it.
