Which is the best LOTR game you've played?

I feel like the best LOTR game I've ever played is LOTR ROTK on PS2. That game was insane...the co-op one of the best for its time (and all time). I also played LOTR Two Towers, but IIRC that had no co-op....the single player was still pretty decent, almost as good as ROTK.

Then there are the Lego games, but I don't think they were meant to give the full movie experience for Lotr and Hobbit.

What about you? Which is your best LOTR game? Can Shadow of Mordor be the best?

yeah, return of the king on gamecube. played it with a friend in coop mode. we had beer and played through the whole night as aragon and legolas. chopping off some orc heads...it was a lot of fun.

The RTS Battle for Middle Earth games are good too.

Lotr:Conquest was one i hoped would have been good, but was a bit lame.

Third Age really should come to PC.
