After being on pre-order for almost 4 months at $49.99 US, the Australian price suddenly jumped up to $71.99 US last week.

Yet Uplay has it for $57 AU?

Well I dont live in Australia but everyone outside of USA (except for Russia) gets recked on prices.

it's this sorta digital tax that everyone has to pay when they buy something online. i do know wether or not the US has such a tax, but from my view, they don't have one. i can't say if this online tax is nothing more than to faten greedy governments and politics pockets, or if it's helps the economy.
Haven't been taxed yet. USA :D

The Middle East has prices identical to the US. I moved to Australia recently and unfortunately the prices of video games here are ridiculously high

I was looking forward to this, but if that’s how they’re gonna treat us then I’m quite happy to wait until it hits the bargain bins. no skin off my nose.

If they're going to (try to) charge us that much for pre-order, they need to throw in the season pass, or it's not worth it.
