Unlimited amount of elf-shot/ Shadow strike!! WTF?

So I have finished the campain and just started to go around and clean up the few mission/ collectibles i didnt finsh. There were also TONS of runes I was able to pick up around the map that I couldnt get to during Trial's of war games. I am quite pleased with my set of runes as I can completely fill my elf-shot back up as well as gain over 100% health from just one combo streak using Combat drain, along with some great damge modifier runes.I didn't think there was a better set possible. That is when i finaly got the Knigth of Eregion rune which says: "recover +1 elf-shot on shadow strike kills", so of course i equip it. I tell you all this so you can better understand my question.

I start doing shadow strikes to travel faster around the map ( so basically no stopping to brand a uruk which is how I usually replenish me elf-shot), Going through a slightly large group using shadow strike, I notice that im not losing elf-shot very fastly. Further testing shows that i'm actually replenishing the elf-shot RIGHT after i use up 2 on shadow strike! THEN, just to make sure, i deplete my elf-shot almost fully, start shadow striking and I am actuall gaining 3 elf-shot for every two used!!!

So to sum it all up quickly:
1. I am using shadow strike and nothing but shadow strike
2. The only new Rune, as well as the only one that should change anything (I think), is the Knight of Eregion one i mentioned
3. Somehow i am spenDing 2 elf-shot to use shadow strike then gaining 3 rigth after.
4. from what i can see I should lose two elf-shot then gain one back from the rune, not three, which should leave me with an overall difference of -1 rune not +1.

SOOOO............. sorry for long post jst wanted to be clear.
Anyone have any ideas about what is going on or have a smiliar experience???

you don't have any other runes that add on elf shot from shadow strike? you sure you didn't get two of the same rune?

Nope only one of the +1 elf shot runes. and the only other runes i have equipped that give me elf-shot do it for combat branded. it is so wierd. i am wondering if it is some wierd uncommon bug or something and this woud have happened even without the new rune.

P.S. i am seriously retarded. i just remembered now that i was gonna unequip the new rune and see what happens. like if i stil get +2 instead of +3 then it isnt the rune. but if it goes back to working normal altogether than....... idk maybe i found a magic rune. "One rune to rule them, one rune to bind them all

well the game must have just crossed wires for a little or something, cuz as soon as i went to travel to Nurn, the second map, it went back to working how it is supposed to (spending 2 shot on shadow strike givnig me back only 1) totally wierd. It probably just took a loading menu to sort itself out.
