But the fact of the matter is that these are pretty huge adjustments to the gameplay mechanic.. They should not be taken lightly as they are. Like that one rune i mentioned gives you 50% chance to reduce dmg by 50%, thats a pretty colossal adjustment to the gameplay mechanic at the beginning of the game if you ask me. Not to mention the other runes which give an extra life vs the orcs and other things that make an already easy game even easier
Not only that but trying to unlock runes is like.. 1/4th of the game.
-If you give me 5 epic runes and 5 rune slots (not sure how many rune slots there are i think 5)..ppl are going to use the epic runes and there is zero reason for them to use the runes the orcs drop because they are 10x worse.
GOTY edition should have missions and new maps and skins and weapons and stuff but giving players epic loot for nothing? Thats like enabling the 30% handicap setting on james bond multiplayer
You can't sell the Epic Runes you get at the start of the game.
I explained it above, trouble reading?
50% chance to reduce damage by 50% is not "huge". "50% chance" is by definition random: you could get hit 10 times in a row and take full damage and die. Or you could take 50% damage all 10 times and have half your health left, or land somewhere in-between. All of that is irrelevant because you can simply run away... or you know, die, and get XP for dying. Yes, the game GIVES YOU XP for dying, so this rune is utterly useless.
