90GB disc space required ? :O

Hi, guys, i bought Middle Earth : Shadow of Mordor GOTY Edition along few other games. After downloading and installing those, it was this game's turn. Well, i was greeted by the window that says about the download location and the game size, saying a number about 90.000 MB being the size of the game.

I loled. Cause, i have about 60 gigs of free space. I did a quick google search but i couldn't find anyone else having to download 90GB files.

Is it the real deal ? Is the game 90GB ? Or is steam screwing with me ? =P

I had bought the GOTY version as well and had to pick my jaw up off my desk when I saw how much space it needed.

But in reality I believe it just needs that much space to install initialy, It only takes up 55,095 mb of actual space in my HD. (but the download size is only 46gb)

just bought the game and it says 90 gb required to install it . I have no idea about what to do cause i can't uninstall all my games to just install shadow of mordor

So, the guys above were right, it requires 90gb to start the download but the files themselves are 44gb. The only thing that you can do is clear up space. That's what i did. I deleted some games (about 35gb, because i already had 60gb free). After that, i downloaded Shadow of Mordor. After the download was done, i went and reinstalled the games that i deleted earlier, because i wanted to play them too. you could do that :3

Make sure you don't have unessesary things taking up space on your hard drive. (like lots of system back up points)

it says 90 cause at 1 point u will have a download folder & instal folder so it ends up double space = 90, but actual game is 1/2 of that.
can't wait for this to be on 80% + sale again, i think i saw it at 85% once through 1 of the bundle sites, maybe even on steam it was 85%.

i see. i finished the story just now (after 20hrs), it was a great game. there's lots of stuff to do after the main story too, plus the two main DLCs have lots of quests. Got it for 4.50$ at G2A. #steal

PS. Wow, steam won't let me address the name of the website. It's G2A ! Dang it.

It's the stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ allocation, the devs think they need 90gbs, but once installed, it's 40+. But you NEED 90, its so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ retarded.
