Shadow of Mordor or Mad Max?
I've had my eye on both games for a while but im not sure which one I will like better. They both seem to have similar combat mechanics and about the same ratings on steam. Has anyone here played both and can put in some imput?

Damn it, I just relized that arkham knight is on sale as well. That made my choice even harder.

Its impossible to choose only one... You should get both!

Mad Max has larger world. It takes longer to complete the game than Shadows. But main story, I think, is weaker than in Shadows of Mordor...

Shadows has nice nemesis system, pretty good story (and in DLC's also).

Better check some videos about these...

But if I didn't play both games I think I would pick Shadows (LOTR fan...)
i would pick shadow of mordor, nemesis system + combat seems a lot better to me

They nearly fixed all of the glitches now on pc. Plus my 1060 is equivilant to one of the higher end cards (980) when the game came out last year.

I'm not going to get both because 25% of the games on my steam profile have never been played before. If I get both then ill end up playing one and never getting to the other.

Shadow of Mordor. Better combat, better story, nemesis system, is less of a grind, world doesn't feel as empty due to being more compact. Mad Max gets too much praise on here. It runs well and has decent car combat (gated by grinding) but that's it. It's such a bland game no matter how much I tried to force myself to like it.

Shadow of Mordor has much more longevity. Not saying Mad Max isn't good, but there isn't anything to do once you beat the story. Shadow of Mordor lets you keep on killing Uruk armies

I know this is already sorta closed, but with 50+ hours on Mad Max, I can safely say that it's one of the best games I've ever played. Although some of its mechanics don't work amazingly well (like the damage taken from collisions and frequency of vehicle spawns), and it's story isn't exactly brilliant, it has some of the best driving and fighting mechanics I could expect from an Avalanche game. Plus, the loot/upgrade system is fun to play about with, enabling you to reconfigure your car for any situation at any point in the game.
I own both, and like both, but in my opinion SoM is way better.
