Steam Deck low resolution text?

Good evening! I am enjoying my time with SoM for the past few hours, but for some reason the text in the menu and in certain parts of the game (skill tree, intel etc) are all low res and barely legible, anyone got a fix for this?

just had the same issue, try turning off "half rate shading" setting off in the decks performance options.

Sorry, pretty dense here. Where is this option? Is it game-specific or does it apply to overall settings on deck? I can't read the initial in-game menu so I can't find it there.

On the steam deck, the option is under the "..." Button menu, under performance tab. It's just under the frame rate slider.

You can toggle per game settings so this option toggled only affects shadow of Mordor
