Looks like WB Play was removed not 100% sure

looks like this was the patch to remove WB Play, and online features like vendetta missions and leaderboards. but not sure since all i noticed was the note on game description in the store.

huge or small download? I remember a few months ago when mk10 received only a mk11 publicity banner and the download was half game again (like 15gb)

Removes all online and server features. The were 3 achievements that we're locked due to the online side, they've been enabled after the update

Pretty damn disappointing, would have been sooo easy to do this locally but no everything has to go through a server -_- really hate the transition to more "live service" oriented systems for this exact reason.

At least the core game still works.

Though yes I'm sad for singleplayr games that get locked to run server side only or mostly and eventually die because servers cost.

For the lazy, here's what has changed according to WB:

• The Nemesis Forge feature is no longer available.
  
• Vendetta missions are no longer available, but the “Repaid in Blood” achievement/trophy can still be unlocked.
  
• Leaderboards are no longer connected to other users and only show the player’s score, but “The Hunt is My Mistress” and “Lord of the Ring” achievements/trophies can still be unlocked.
  
• The WBPlay platform is no longer available, but the Epic Runes “Orc Hunter” and “Gravewalker” upgrades are now automatically awarded to all players.

They aren't vast features and the core game still works. Plus it goes on insanely low sales regularly on Fanaticals all the time with all its DLC included.

For now. Last time it was on sale, it was like 5€, so yeah, just gotta wait for another one or have a pal gift you it.

What's even better is that WB actually assisted/assists with this one as well, so yeah, credits where they're given. Devs told us that via their server.
