What was the first game to use this game's type of combat? (Freeflow combat)
I've seen people ask this before and every time I see a different answer. Some say it's The Matrix: Path of Neo, others claim that it originated from Batman: Arkham Asylum, and other people think Assassin's Creed invented freeflow combat. Does anyone know what game first had the combat that the Batman: Arkham series or Assassin's Creed uses?

If it isn't the Arkham games to invent it, it certainly popularized it I would say.

I believe prince of Persia was the first, after that was Assassins Creed and then later Batman.Though it should be said that the Free-Flow combat in Batman was way superior and way more in depth, which is why it became the key example of Free-Flow combat. It's so popular that later Assassin's Creed games borrowed stuff like kill streaks and counters, they basically influenced the thing that they were influenced by.
