Celebrimbor is not evil. He was tricked by Sauron and his family was killed. Talion and Celebrimbor was looking at the volcano because *Shadow of War Spoiler in bound 3.2.1...*to forge another ring of power to stop Sauron's army. He did lie to Talion about chosing him but he had his own agenda and Talion agreed what he did was good because revenge is revenge.

Remember this game is not cannon. Best I can put it.

What made you exactly think that he was evil?

I dont know, like im playing his campaign now but he just seems evil. So he was always good and Sauron decieved him, so he made another ring saying it was for him but tricked him and used the ring against him, then he forged the army etc and Sauron defeated him, killed him and he was denied of death?

Am I right?

Ok i am bit rusty with the storyline of LOTR Franchise but Sauron tricked Celebrimbor in making the rings of power. Rings were given to different human rulers. Sauron forged a ring to rule over all other ring holders and corrupting them. Celebrimbor found out about this and forged a new ring that was uncorruptable by Sauron and gave Celebrimbor great power. Trying to save his family he branded and took control of an orc army and tried fighting Sauron and lost. Sauron was trying to revive himself with Celebrimbor and a ritual.

Basically you are Talion and just along for the ride. Was never really about Talion's storyline. More about the revenge feud between Celebrimbor and Sauron. To save all mankind.

I wish I can explain it better lol. I could make an entire story summary for you but my English not so good.

Sauron was just trying to revive himself at the end. Using the Black Hand's body and the original ritual Celebrimbor went into the black hand's body. Celebrimbor was able to resist Sauron leading Talion to have an opening to destroy Sauron's current phyical form. Then Celebrimbor re-entered Talion's body. They argued and Celebrimbor confienced Talion that he did get revenge on the Black Hand for taking his family. Then Celebrimbor confienced him to join in on the battle to stop Sauron from destroying entire Mordor.

The mountain Talion was looking at was the same Mountain that was used for forge the rings of power. Including the One Ring to rule all of them that is bound to Sauron forever. That is reason during the fight the right flew off Celebrimbors finger on Sauron's. Leading to a defeat for Celebrimbor. Sauron then killed his family infront of his eyes leading to a revenge feud. Celebrimbor saw Talion faced a similar fate and took advantage of that. Rest of the story was about Celebrimbor getting his memories back so that he can use his powers fully to stop Sauron's Army. He could have left Talion's body anytime but Talion is a skilled and fit soldier and gets the job done.

Celebrimbor wanted revenge for his family. He was tricked into forging 16 rings of power with the help of Sauron, when he found out he was tricked he forged 3 rings in secret, untouched by Sauron so they weren't corrupted. 3 rings for the Elven kings under the sky, 7 for the Dwarf lords in their halls of stone, and 9 for mortal men doomed to die. Celebrimbor decided something needed to be done. Time for the non-canon stuff. Celebrimbor, stole the One ring Sauron had forged in secret so he could rebuild Eregion, his kingdom. He built an army of Uruks and began taking away Sauron's power. Sauron started to panic and began making offers to Celebrimbor if he stopped, but he refused every time. Eventually Suaron got sick of it and challenged Celebrimbor directly, as you know, Celebrimbor lost and his family was murdered in front of him. But he was cursed by the One Ring and bound to Mordor, an age and some years pass and then Shadow of Mordor begins, Celebrimbor sees a chance at revenge and takes it. He was never evil, just driven by years of sadness and torment. He couldn't pass on to see his family, so he wanted revenge. Obviously Sauron won't die by Celebrimbor or Talion's hand though.

I'd say it is very much evil to use others for your own selfish goals. Don't forget that Talion's only driving motivation is to see his family again.

Plus what comes to Sauron not dying by their hands, well, there's already enough contradictory nonsense in the trailers... For starters, why does Sauron seem to have a physical form. Isildur and all those pesky elves sucked monkey balls.

They shared the same goal. Evil is a point of view after all. Celebrimbor had good intentions, he acted hastily and prevented Talion from passing on but in the end they both agreed something had to be done.

It's been said that Sauron had a physical form of some kind in the books

His intentions weren't that good (from outsider's subjective perspective) in the DLC. "Power corrupts" trope all over again.

I've only read LOTR once many decades ago, so can't remember specific details, and I'm not a big fanboy of the lore either, but wasn't he kind of killed, and because he served Melkor he was denied the passage to afterlife? So Sauron stayed in a form of limbo, and because he put so much of his own power into the ring he doesn't have enough to change this. Feel free to correct me if you know the lore better than I do.
