Which edition to buy?

Hey guys! This has probably been asked a million times, but there is this first edition called Middle Earth:Shadow of Mordor, and then there is the GOTY edition. Is it enough if i bought the GOTY or do i need to buy the former?

The GOTY page says "This content requires the base game Middle-earth™: Shadow of Mordor™ on Steam in order to play." and now i'm confused.

Any help is appreciated!

GOTY edition means it has the game with all dlc, so no you would not need the original game for it.

You do however need the original game for the "goty UPGRADE edition", which is just all the dlc minus the base game.

"Buy Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition" thats the one you want to pick on the store page if you want to buy the game on sale

GOTY edition. It comes with all DLC. Don't even bother with the regular edition.

Tbh I dont think you can even buy the regular edition anymore, the only buy options on the front page are the goty bundle and goty upgrade.

You can only buy the first one anyway on Steam store. The 2nd option is only if you bought the regular edition before GOTY happened.
