Ultra HD texture pack
Hi,

I just bought the game on Steam, and since I'm living in Japan, I got the "Shadow of Mordor (JP)" version. My question is am I right to believe the HD texture pack is included in the full download? I looked on the DLC page, but no texture pack is listed.

Anyone knows?

Go to the store and search for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - HD Content. Go to its store page and add it from there.

Tried and retried, and no HD content available for download. I'm starting to think that it was never released in Japan... (even if the simple thought of it is baffling me)

Thanks for the advice, but it really looks like the textures are off-limit for Japan. Using my browser, I got the page where Steam tells you that the content is not available in my region.

I'm forced to believe that WB didn't bother releasing HD textures for the Japanese market.

I would not recomend to use VPN but you have no other choice.

Using a VPN would be the only solution... at the cost of losing my Steam account. Not worth it.

I'll give WB a poke about this, if not I'll see if Valve can make this available in Japan instead, can't think why it wouldn't be to be honest.

Well, WB Support only repeated the obvious, that the item was unavailable in my region and that they can't help me further on this matter. And that was it.

But I wanna thank you for all the help and pointers you provided. really appreciated it.
