screen resolution no 1920X1080?? WTF
as the description says, no 1080p setting, instead its 1024 and 2 other weird resolutions but has no options for 1080.
running a AMD Radeon 390x gcard, it should have no trouble. and monitor is at 1080p setting.
any suggestions?

Solution:
1. open Documents>WB Games>Shadow of Mordor>render.cfg with notepad
2. change "Render.Setting.AspectRatioLock" "1.000000" to "0.000000"
3. launch game, set full screen and resolution 100%(1920x1080).

R9 270 owner, have not had your issue. I get 5 resolutions under 1080, the 1080, and 2 larger than 1080, which is my default escreen resolution.

I tried the render.cfg fix, didn't work for me. Manually changing the res in settings.cfg seems to do the trick though.

Is this what might be preventing game from working for me? I hit start and it acts like it then just closes out. I saw lot of issues with this in old discussion in 2014.

I had this problem when I launched the game for the first time today. By switching through the various display modes (e.g. windowed) and messing with resolutions a bit, when I again selected 'full screen', the normal, i.e. expected list of resolutions finally appeared.

Yo tenia otro problema , el programa aparecía en el Administrador de tareas pero no en la pantalla, podía:steamhappy: hacer cualquier cosa , es mas, consumía recursos como si lo estuviera ejecutando y todo, gracias por todo.

I’ve found that setting the setting to Borderless, my computer will display it properly on it own. Also I think changing the resolution to the higher option helped. I know this is old but if someone needs help they can try this, rather than going into the Documents folder.
