I would love to see an answer to this. I cannot get it to work either. The right analog stick does nothing on my DS4, and works in every other game.

I'm having the exact same problem with this game right now. Did the game up just get a broken update?

Native DS4 support through steam, using the Sony DS4 wireless dongle. Other games work fine. All controls on this game work fine--except the right (camera) stick.

I had the same issue. What did the trick was the controller calibration from Big Picture Steam. I forget where exactly it is, look under settings for the controller while in big picture mode. And ignore the "warning," just do it. Did the trick first time. I'm also using a PS4 controller..

No guarantees it'll fix the issue for you, but it's worth a shot, as I had that EXACT same problem yesterday.

Go to controller configurations
in steam( the one where you can change your controller buttons and stuff. Right joystick is set at joystick mouse, change it to joystickmove, make sure to set it to right joystick. IT should work then.

I fixed it.no worries. just go into "Big picture" mode and make sure in controller configuration the Right joystick is set at joystickmove, make sure to set it to right joystick :steamhappy:

I only have the option for joystick mouse and generic direction pad when I try to change the right analog. It works for all other games. The camera is still stuck to the ds4 track pad.

Have you selected ps4 controller profile in the big picture mode setting?

I had a similar issue and I was able to fix by following the instructions in this thread. I have the new version DS4 if it matters. Also make sure you're using Big Picture mode, the game won't work period if you don't have enabled. Also check the Steam specific controller settings and also those built into Shadows of Mordor to make sure they're all correct.

For anyone that still has the issue, i fixed it by pressing PS button (the round playstation button) in the game. You need to use big picture mode as that is where you go by pressing the button. After that you can configure the controller in game from joystickMove to joystickMouse or whatever its called. So i had to change to the opposite from what people are saying here above to make it work. But after just making that small change it worked for me, i also made the touch pad do nothing but dont know if that changed anything really.
