Can't get a nemesis in this game? Help?

[Insomniac #ZHG RIP]

I've tried everything!
Starting a new save
Letting a Capitan kill me like 4 times
Waiting and fast-traveling.
Still no nemesis, nobody comes back when I kill them.
(Yes I do not decapatate their head)

Can someone help?

EVEN if you did decapatate their heads THEY COMEBACK your case is strange very strange

Lel, i branded my nemesis and made him a warchief. Got both maps full with branded capitaine and warchief. Dunno waht to do anymore :'(

Lol. I have the exact opposite of this problem. I keep getting ambushed by revived captains every 20 minutes. They always come in groups of 2 or 3 as well. It's getting really annoying.

I'm only a couple of hours into the game mate. Dying has nothing to do with nemesis revival rate, either. It's a neat little feature, but when ever 2 out of every 3 captains you kill comes back, it loses its shock factor pretty quickly.

Yeah... I had 2 nemesis on the first map, 2 on the second. When I couldnt 1v2 them, I was just running away constantly

I had that one full playthrough without a single nemesis orc. It was frustrating; if I "killed" captains, they stayed dead. Only starting new game fixed that for me. Idk if that's your case...

I had that happen in my first playthrough. No Nemesis whatsoever playing through whole game. When I started another playthrough I had a nemesis that wouldn't leave me the hell alone.

Nemasis would be to beat them in combat and then have them flee. Twice or more. Messing up their hunts and feasts helps too.
