Can't get Toni to leave.

I'm stuck at the 3 Rufus segment. Walkthroughs say I need to adjust the babyphone frequency to Toni's radio then give the babyphone to left Rufus and make him use it to make Toni leave, but it just doesn't work, when I do it plays the same scene as if center Rufus were doing it ("Rufus to Toni", "Leave the channel", etc...). Is there any other condition that guides are skipping over or is my game bugged?

Nevermind, I had to use it while the middle Rufus was with Toni
